How to Access Your Unified Messaging Mailbox | AT&T


Now that you’ve set up your
AT&T Unified Messaging mailbox, accessing it is super easy. All you need
is a touchtone phone, or a computer with Web access. When retrieving your voicemail
from your home phone, simply dial Star (*) 98. If Star (*) 98 is not
available, you can dial your home telephone
number to access your mailbox. When retrieving your voicemail
from any touchtone phone, either dial the access number, or just call your home phone
telephone number. Dial the access number. You can find your access number
on your welcome letter. You’ll then be prompted to enter your
10-digit telephone number, followed by the Pound (#) key. Next, enter the pin you created
when you set up your mailbox, followed by the Pound (#) key. You can also retrieve
your messsages from any touchtone phone by dialing your
home phone number. Once you hear the greeting,
press Star (*). You’ll then be prompted to enter your
10-digit telephone number, followed by the Pound (#) key. Next, enter the pin you created during the setup
of your mailbox, followed by the Pound (#) key. When retrieving your messages
from a computer, go to um.att.com. Enter your email
and password in the appropriate fields, and you’ll automatically
be taken to your inbox. You can then review
all your messages, including fax documents,
in any order. Lastly, you can download
the AT&T Voicemail Viewer app to your qualifying iOS
or Android device. With the app, you can listen
to your voicemail messages or even read them as text. You can also choose to automatically forward
your voicemail messages with voicemail-to-text and an audio file,
to a designated email address, accessible by your smartphone,
