  1. The explanation of the role of a transistor in a "classical" ( == present day) computer is already crap.
    " A transistor is a type of switch . It can be turned on which corresponds to binary 1 , or can be turned off which corresponds to binary 0"
    NO!
    In ICs which computers are made of,
    a binary 0 is represented by a voltage close to 0V "produced" by a turned-on transistor which
    connects the signal line carrying the 0 (0V) to ground potential.
    a binary 1 is represented by a voltage close to supply voltage ( e.g. 1.2V ) "produced" by a turned-on transistor which
    connects the signal line carrying the 1 (1.2V in this example) to supply voltage.

    So both times we have a transistor turned ON. Even during the transition (lasting picoseconds) from 0 to 1 or vice versa
    both transistors are shortly BOTH turned on, resulting in large current flows.
    So they can't even explain classical computers, does anybody believe they
    can explain quantum computers?

  4. there is no such thing as a binary state in nature, quantum computing would in theory make use of this fact πŸ™‚

Not too many of us is able to understand 'neuron networks', and even less people comprehend 'fuzzy logic'… And all of a sudden someone is trying to convince us to such a far-off thing like 'quantum computer' … When all the 'quantum' ideas have being questioned and mis-understood since they came to existence…
    (just a simple example: if things on a quantum level are 'entangled', it means their own properties have no meaning at all, because they are part of more complex 'systems'…)
    What exactly can just one 'atom' do? "To be or not to be…"
